1100 Cornwall

The formerly City-owned monthly permit parking lot at the corner of Cornwall Avenue and Maple Street (northeast corner) was conveyed to the BPDA in December 2010.

At its October 18, 2011 meeting, the BPDA Board approved a resolution authorizing the sale of the property for development of a mixed-use project including parking, a mix of multi-family residential uses and commercial services.  The contractual agreements for this sale were ratified by City Council at its December 5, 2011 meeting and Buyer's Due Diligence is in progress until early June 2012.  Assuming the project is deemed feasible by the Buyer, closing would occur in early July 2012.  The Development Agreement included with the provisions for this sale requires construction commence within a defined period of time, currently within 18 months of closing.
